Our first Talking About Writing meet up was attended by a nonfiction essayist and blogger, two playwright/novelists, an actor/screen writer, with other interesting cafe residents – an actor and copywriter popping in. Our talk ranged across a number of topics including the importance of genuine for feedback/support, how to tell a good story, how to marry literary techniques with nonfiction writing. It was a very affirming and stimulating couple of hours with lots of sharing of interesting digital and literary information.
