Mary Delahunty’s memoir is launched on 28 Aug at the Melbourne Writers Festival. Good Weekend tells us “the impetus for Private Life, Public Grief, came from an enthusiastic tutor on a writer’s hike in Tasmania” (guess who?) Mary came on our Tarkine trip at the end of 2008 and joined Desert Writers in 2009. I worked with Mary at her writer’s retreat Rosebank near Mt Macedon in Victoria and hey presto, by August she has a book. You can do it too! Check out Mary’s book and any of the workshops offered here to help yourself on the way….
